Mobile phones have replaced the Alarm Clock

A survey has revealed that the mobile phone has all but replaced the alarm clock as the sleeper-rousing device of choice.The survey, conducted for hotel firm Travelodge, found that 36% of respondents had completely ditched their clocks in favour of their phones while 71% thought the the alarm clock was now obsolete.
