Nokia hegemony continues in mobile phone market

uring the three months of 2007, some 291.6 million phones were sold, down 11.6% compared to the 330.8 million of Q4 2007 but up 14.3% on-year. Breaking down the results, IDC has deemed that again, Nokia has been the top phone manufacturer as it managed to ship 115.5 million units in Q1 and secure itself a 39.6% share.
