Microsoft buys Danger - Apple counters by acquiring Achtung

Microsoft said on Monday that it is acquiring Danger, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based maker of the T-Mobile Sidekick for an undisclosed amount. Is Microsoft gearing up for a run at the i-phone? Either way it seems Microsoft is becoming serious about the hardware side of the mobile phone business.
