Samsung, LG Introduce New Mobile TV Techs

Samsung and LG have both recently announced competing technologies for local mobile TV on mobile phones. Unlike the MediaFLO national network that uses dedicated spectrum and is run by Qualcomm, these new technologies are designed to let local TV stations in the US use their “leftover” digital TV radio spectrum to broadcast TV to phones.
